Things we could talk about which would feel relevant to me at the moment ♥16 February 7, 2010
Well, we could talk about the new dishwasher my family got. I haven’t seen it in action yet, but I feel like I’m going to be saying, “I just don’t know how I lived before this” a week from now.
We could also talk about my best friend moving to Texas. He’s doing good, though, and I’m visiting soon, so thumbs up!
Oh, and jobs. We could talk about jobs. I went to see about a census job a couple of days ago, and they had me sit down and take a 28-question test. It was actually fun. It was supposed to determine how good I am with numbers and organization and things like that. Tricky questions are the best. I got only one wrong.
This essay I’m writing could be another topic. Not much to say about it though, since it’s a paragraph long. Sad face. Sad, procrastinating, uninspired face.
I think that’s about it—HOLD IT, SON. We could also talk about this new layout here! I used the same HTML, basically, but check out what CSS can do for you~ Yes, you~
So, that’s what we could talk about if I were the topic of conversation. A dishwasher, a friend, a job, an essay, and a layout. Life is good.

I love this layout! (And your about page is nicely done, too.)
Y’know, I’ve lived in a couple places with dishwashers before, but they always turned into a drying rack. Having to semi-clean them beforehand just made it seem kind of pointless. At any rate, there are only two people in my current residence and we generate like 5 dishes a day, so it’s not useful here.
And what kind of stuff would you do at the census job? I remember some lady coming by our house to request that we take a census but we sorta ignored it…

The two types of census jobs are the door-to-door people and the clerical people. I really hope if I do get the job I get clerical duties.
We use a LOT of dishes here for some reason, so only semi-cleaning them will still save a significant amount of time.
You ignored the census? :O I wonder how many people do that. And I wonder if it would make my potential job easier or harder

WHOA this is pretty <333
Lucky you. My family has never had a dishwasher because we live in the middle of nowhere and our water is bad or something.
I told my parents to let me fill out their census survey thing. I love that kind of stuff. My dad used to get surveys in the mail about the farm and I would fill them out for him. <3 Census job sounds interesting. :O

I love that stuff too, makes me feel represented. I think a census job would get repetitive after a while, but they pay REALLY well for the short amount of time they hire people, so I’d be glad if I got a job there

Oohh, pretty layout!
My family doesn’t use a dishwasher, as we only have three people in my household and we don’t use enough dishes on a daily basis to load a full dishwasher.

We filled the dishwasher twice today D: I’m starting to get that feeling of not knowing how I managed before. I see how a dishwasher would be pointless in a small household though.

I love my dishwasher, even my tiny/crummy old apartment had one. I couldn’t live without it after having family or friends over for dinner. Cooking pots and pants, plus 8 – 14 people’s worth of dishes? Not fun. Good luck on your essay!

Omg yes! Pots and pans are the worst to wash manually. They don’t conform to what the sink has going on. Thanks for the luck

Okay, so this layout is amazing. I loved the last one and I didn’t want you to change it, but this one is great so I can forgive you.
I am so jealous that you guys have a dishwasher now! I moved 2.5 years ago, and we had to leave our dishwasher. (The way the kitchen is laid out, there is no place for it, even though it’s a big room.) Now I get to wash the dishes all the time – whoopdeedoo!
Do you know if you got the census job? I hope so!

Yay forgiveness!
I’m really starting to get that feeling of not knowing how I managed before D: Washing dishes sounds irritating. I’m sorry for your loss (the dishwasher).
I find out if I got the job in March, I think, because that’s when the paperwork deadlines are. I hope I get it too~

Aww, this is cute and I love it!!
You will love your dishwasher. We have one, but it’s a bit pointless because my mom pretty much makes us scrub the dishes before we put them in, but whatever.

I think I do love it
Is it really necessary to scrub them? We just kind of rinse them off. I’ll have to look that up.

My family has a dishwasher but we rarely use it. I don’t mind washing stuff by hand, I guess. I find it to be a bit more fun than loading the dishwasher
I feel so nerdy for saying this but that test sounds like so much fun!
I love this layout, especially the textured background and semi-transparent things
Kaylee said this on February 7, 2010
I can see myself washing dishes when I don’t feel like loading the dishwasher, definitely. Then I would get to see the soap bubbles
And feel accomplished~
The test was fun! Especially figuring a question out after being ~frustrated~ about not getting it.

Pretty sure dishwashers are the shit, so congrats there!
And this layout is so cute.
I love it. I subscribed, nice blog!
