You know what I realized was cool today? The fact that Michael Jackson was a really nice person.

I could see him being a jerk. He was an amazing artist, a big star, and he was good-looking. I’m not saying that gives him (or anyone) any excuse to be a jerk to anyone else, but some people do use their own power that way. Can’t deny that.

But no, he was really nice. He donated very much money to charities and he talked to his fans. He was down-to-earth, as far as I know.

Imagine how easily he could’ve gotten away with being a jerk. Like Elvis.

He didn’t even try though, and that makes me smile.

I am really bad with music. I don’t even listen to music. I listen to the words. And I don’t listen to albums. I listen to songs.

In order to exercise the musical part of my brain, I will be analyzing albums. I know it’s probably counter-productive, since music is supposed to be ~felt~, not critically analyzed and dissected. But it’s how I understand things.

The first album I am murdering is The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails. It’s gonna be fun!!

Oh geez, I’m rambling on about punctuation marks when something actually important happened.

I got a MacBook Pro! I don’t know what to say about it besides “AWESOME!”

Everything is set up so nicely. Everything works. It’s great. I am having some issues though. Trackpads are hard, I keep accidentally clicking stuff in the dock, and it totally ate a CD. I don’t know what to do about the CD, but I gotta get it out.

I cannot stop listening to Showbread. I downloaded another album, too. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I used to be a fan, but back in freshman year of high school. What’s happening?! I don’t know what exactly the problem is, either! They’re kind of cheesy and also Christian. That might be it. There’s a lot of guilt in their lyrics. Talking about personally nailing Jesus to the cross and letting him down. Cheer up, Josh Dies.
