I’ve been in the web design and development business since I was 12 years old. Seriously—I geek out over this stuff! Outside of my client work, I’m constantly pursuing my own design projects (like Kawaii Tarot) because I literally can’t get enough of design, development, and marketing.
My passion within web design is for small businesses, and people like you—self-starters who love their mission, and work crazy hard to achieve their goals. It’s a thrill for me to design a website that will create a major impact for your small business.
I live in Los Angeles with my pet bird Chiqui. Hip-hop and soul are my jam, and I’m passionate about all areas of human equality: feminism, racial equality, and LGBTQ rights.
Most importantly, I’m really excited to work with you!
In working together, I have a few values that drive my products, process, and client interactions:
1. Ask the right questions
2. Be efficient
3. Create an emotional connection
I guarantee that I will drive an intentional, efficient process, and ensure that your new website visitors connect emotionally as well as intellectually when considering your products or services.
After learning about your small business, I pull together colors, fonts, and an overall aesthetic that best reflects who you are and what you do.
In this stage, I determine what info is needed for your website, where that info should go, and the best order for the content to appear.
With the results of the first two stages, I pull everything together to create a bold, effective custom website.
After the design stage, I work to ensure that your website is responsive and stunning when viewed on any mobile device.
To complete the process, I integrate your custom website with Wordpress to allow for simple, no-stress updates in the future!
Good question! My web design services start at $2,400, with about half of my clients operating at that price point. I know—that’s a scary number! Web design is definitely an investment, but one worth making for the health of your business. Take some time to think it over, and contact me with any questions you might have.
Totally understand—like I said, web design is definitely an investment! Sleep on it, and consider the impact that an effective, modern website will have on your sales and business goals. If you’re still unsure about the investment, consider opting for a teaser service:
A mood board is a ‘teaser’ for the Design Exploration phase of my full process, offering you a collection of images, fonts, and colors that capture an overall aesthetic style for your company.
With a website report, I walk through your existing website and offer my feedback on recommended areas of improvement. Think of this as a consultation, and a way to gauge the effectiveness of your website before diving into a full design process.
